Part II of the Green Deal #TeamEuropeKenya, worth $45.32 million, will support environmental preservation, renewable energy, and sustainable development in Kenya. It will assist the nation’s shift to a green economy and address urgent environmental issues.

Strengthening Kenya’s Devolution ($10.52 million) will enable local governments to improve public services, better serve their constituents, and fortify grassroots governance.

Strengthening Kenya’s Security and Cybersecurity ($10.52 million) would improve cybersecurity and national security measures in Kenya, making the country’s residents and enterprises safer. This is a component of Team Europe’s initiatives to digitalize Kenya in a way that puts people first.

Komesha FGM Sasa, stop female genital mutilation (FGM) now! ($4.22 million) initiative to lessen the vulnerability of women, young people, children, and people with stop Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) now, Komesha FGM Sasa! ($4.22 million) action will assist Kenya in effectively combating FGM and lessen the exposure of vulnerable populations, including women, youth, children, people with disabilities, and communities affected by displacement, to all forms of gender-based violence.

 

The $5.22 million Cooperation and Partnership Facility II catalyzes collaboration and partnership between Kenya and the European Union, enabling the execution of numerous development initiatives.
