Police Officer Killed and His Body Dumped In A Coffee Plantation Near His Home in Kirinyaga

31

In Ndia, Kirinyaga County, a police officer was discovered dead with his corpse disposed of in a coffee plantation ten meters from his homestead.

Timothy Mwangi Ciira, 42, suffered multiple cuts on his head, according to Kirinyaga West sub-county police officer Moses Koskei, who confirmed the incident on Monday night.

Although we are unsure if he was off duty or had been arrested, he was a police officer. We will find out by today why he was at home, Koskei informed Citizen Digital.

Daniel Karaba, the brother of the deceased, claimed to have discussed a problem with him before his passing.

Karaba claimed, “He informed me that some unknown individuals had been pursuing and phoning him and he had foretold his demise.”

Karaba continued by saying that his brother was the only resident in his home, which is encircled by his uncle’s coffee plantation.

He explained, “He is based in Embakasi, but he takes supper in my house when he is at home because he is separated from his wife.”

We parted ways at around ten o’clock at night, and I was horrified to learn that my brother had suffered severe head injuries and that his body had been found in my uncle’s coffee pot.

The relatives were reassured by Commander Koskei that an investigation had been conducted to identify the murderers.

In anticipation of a postmortem, the body was brought to Kerugoya Referral Hospital.
