Tenants of Peponi View Estate Are Ordered To Leave As Ksh. 200 million Houses Are About to Collapse

The Nairobi County administration has now ordered tenants occupying multi-million dollar residences at the Peponi View Estate in Nairobi to leave the property for safety grounds as the buildings are on the verge of total collapse.

 

This comes after footage of the damaged homes appearing to be on the verge of collapse—a veritable cliff—went viral on social media on Thursday.

 

Four of the houses, each estimated to be worth Ksh. 200 million, were reportedly affected, but only two of them are currently occupied, locals informed the source,
